Offshore Wind Conference 2026

28-29 January 2026 | Glasgow

As we enter a crucial year for developing offshore wind in Scotland, Scottish Renewables’ Offshore Wind Conference 2026 will explore what is needed to ensure the right conditions are in place to maximise the delivery of Scotland’s extensive pipeline of offshore wind projects.

The two-day event in Glasgow, on January 28 and 29, will examine how Scotland and the UK can maximise the opportunity this complex, but essential technology has to offer.

Hot on the heels of the much-anticipated Allocation Round 7 announcement on January 14 – which saw a record-breaking 8.4GW of offshore wind capacity secure Contracts for Difference, two of which were Scottish offshore wind farms with a joint capacity of almost 1.5GW – the Offshore Wind Conference 2026 comes at a pivotal moment for Scotland’s offshore wind sector. While welcoming this progress and the positive signal it sends to the market and Scotland’s supply chain, the conference will bring together the UK and Scottish governments, key stakeholders and industry leaders to address the biggest challenges that must be overcome to progress offshore wind projects from development and in to deployment in an ever-changing landscape.

Register now to take part in thought-provoking discussions and hear about the next steps we need to take on our journey to deploying more than 40GW of offshore wind by 2040.

You'll learn about:

  • The critical actions that must be progressed to ensure that Scottish offshore wind is competitive and its pipeline will have a route to market
